Founded in 2023 in Abu Dhabi, Wave Up specializes in eco-friendly water sports activities, including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and coracle boats (the first ever in the UAE).We have operated across premier locations such as the Eastern Mangroves National Park, Al Zahiya Marina, and Yas Water’s Edge. Our Vision is to preserve UAE’s natural environment.
This is in line with continuing the legacy of the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his visionary leadership. He was famous for his love for nature and he inspired many of the environmental projects that exist today. Preserving indigenous species such as the Arabian Oryx and maintaining productive fisheries were very important to him. His involvement with environmental conservation efforts grew out of respect of nature that is embedded in the Bedouin culture. The UAE has incredible beauty that will last a lifetime if we take care of it. The Eastern Mangroves National Park is a perfect example of this incredible beauty.

We intend to share our love for our environment through our eco based and educational tours in the park, where both residents and tourists will learn about our precious mangroves and their contribution to the blue-carbon ecosystem, whilst having fun.
